MARSEILLE PORT

Marseille port is France's busiest port for trade and the second busiest for passengers. Also known as Marseille Fos Port or "Grand port maritime de Marseille".

It is not to be confused with Marseille's old port which no longer serves as a ferry port but as a harbour for yachts with many cafes and restaurants near by. The old port is located very close to the new.

Marseille is big port with several departure gates. If you are a passenger and heading to Corsica then you will use the Joliette Ferry Terminal. If you are travelling by car then you should use Gate 1.
