Built in Norway and Sweden and finished in 1995, the Girolata is an impressive and large ferry with all the facilities you need for a very comfortable voyage. There are two cafe-bars with free newspapers, a self service and a la carte restaurant and even a cinema. Of course there are also very comfortable cabins and in addition, airline style seats can also be reserved. For children, there's a play area and video games. And if travelling with your furry friend, there's a kennel. All in all, you're sure to have a relaxed and enjoyable journey on board this ferry.
Travelling with a Dog
A kennel is available. Pets are not allowed in passenger areas.
Seating & Cabins
Choose a one, two, three or four berth cabin either outside or inside. Outside cabins have windows and inside ones don't. Berths is just another way to say beds. There is also comfortable seating throughout the ship and reclining pullman seats that can be booked before you travel.
Travelling with Children & Babies
For young children there is a play area and for slightly older children, video games are available. A nursery with facilities for babies is also available.
Cafés, Bars & Restaurants
The ferry features a self service restaurant for quick bites from the large buffet and an a la carte restaurant serving delicious Corsican cuisine in the evening. In addition there are two bars (one in the off season) serving hot, cold and alcoholic drinks as well as light snacks.
Access
A limited number of wheelchair adapted cabins are available.
