Why should you take the ferry to Corsica rather than take the plane? It's a logical question that many people ask. The crossing on the ferry takes longer so what are the advantages of travelling by ferry?

What's that you say? Costs are about the same. Yes, maybe if you're one person or a couple, costs can be comparable but if you're a family or a group then it doesn't cost that much more. And don't forget the cost normally includes your car. A huge advantage.

In the summer, it may be difficult to find a car at all. Or worse, you could end up with a complete wreck because that's all there is left.

Take the ferry and you can bring your own car. Drive off the ferry and you're free to go anywhere you want. In a car that you know already and that's fully insured. No worries. Just fun.

And last but not least, when you take the ferry, your holiday begins the moment you step on board. With comfortable beds, bars, and restaurants, travelling by ferry nowadays is like taking a cruise. Why would you swap that for the stress and pressure of taking a flight?
